Recruiting Resources for Parents and Students
2010-2011 Guide for the College Bound Student Athlete
Summary of the rules and regulations in easy-to-read form. Guidelines relate to recruiting, eligibility, financial aid and college freshman eligibility requirements for Divisions I & II.
National Collegiate Scolarship Association (NCSA)
Has some great resources for Parents and students regarding the recruiting process. It's expensive but the fee covers mutiple the entire high school years.
One non-D1 Leon athlete had over 100 colleges view his film through NCSA with over 25 schools showing intertest.
GoBigRecruiting will help identify schools looking for athletes that meet your students qualifications, When they get a positive response from a college, they will alert you and then for a small fee they will send them a copy of your highlight film. (If you have a better way to get film to the college, such as your Leon coach or family connection, or direct, you have no obligation to spend money to send it via their service.) The following is an actual recent email to a High School athlete.
