Leon scrimmages against Wakulla & Godby.

Spring Jamboree 2010

The Leon Touchdown Club, Inc. hosted the Varsity Football Banquet on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 to honor the Varsity Coaches, football players, trainers and cheerleaders.  It was fitting that the banquet was held in the hallowed halls of Leon High, where the red carpet was literally rolled out in the front hall to welcome guests.  Players, parents and guests had the privilege of viewing the relics of the past in the hallway trophy cabinets.  The reception was followed by a dinner catered by Outback Steakhouse.  Annual awards were bestowed on the seniors and the crowd was honored to listen to the wisdom of our special guest speaker, Florida State Defensive Coordinator, Mickey Andrews.  Surrounded by friends and family this was truly a wonderful way to wrap up the 2009 Football Season with another group of young men who are proud to call themselves Leon Lions!  Much thanks to all of the parents who helped make this banquet possible!
